After making films through his teens, Matt decided to pursue his interest in computers. Convinced that it was the safer road, he started several companies and worked as a sought after software engineering expert.
Realizing that there’s risk in everything we do, and seeing the impending convergence of film and technology, Matt decided the time was right to pursue his first love, film making. Drawing on his passion for classic stories such as “Le Morte D’Arthur” and Greek Mythology, he is always looking for stories that connect us through universal insights.
An eternal optimist, his work reflects the themes of change, renewal and growth. Please enjoy the shorts in the "Films" section representing Matt’s short film work.
He's studied Directing with Judith Weston (Los Angeles), Michael Mabbot (Toronto) and acting with Theresa Sears and David Switzer.
He is currently completing his MFA in Directing at the American Film Insitute (AFI Conservatory). |
